Chief Executive Officer, Antony Tagliamonti formed Scoffs Group in 2012 with the purchase of three Costa Coffee stores in Essex and East London, followed by a further five in Norfolk and Suffolk in 2013.

By 2018, the group had expanded to a total of 31 stores across these regions. In 2018, an additional 57 stores were acquired in the South of England. In 2022 the group acquired 20 equity stores from Costa Coffee in the Cornwall Region. With a number of new store openings, including our first drive thru, the group now trades from 113+ stores nationwide.

Notably innovative and proactive in matters of business, Scoffs Group are the proud winners of the ‘Costa Innovation Award’ for Costa in Crate Loughton, the first Costa to be built within a shipping container in the UK. The Annual Costa Awards have also recognised Scoffs Group for Progressive Community Engagement as well as naming the business Costa Foundation Fundraiser of the Year – we are incredibly proud of these accolades.

Despite a difficult year for the industry, 2020 saw our CEO, Antony Tagliamonti, shortlisted by the British Franchise Association for the coveted HSBC Best in Class Multi-Unit Leader Award. And when it comes to staff development, we are also leaders in the field: at all levels, our team members benefit from access to a vocational training program, delivered by the Yuzu Training exclusively for Scoffs Group staff members.
