Chairman of Fleet Town Council, Cllr Bob Schofield officially unveiled the brand-new Costa Coffee on 156 Fleet Road, Hampshire, GU51 4BE at its grand opening on 4th December.

The store has been fitted according to Costa’s latest specifications and boasts clean and contemporary internal and external decorations. Modern lighting, graphics and furniture adorn the store, with development costs totalling £186,000.

The opening is part of an expansion and major overhaul by Scoffs Group — Costa’s largest franchise partner — which runs over 90 Costa Coffee outlets nationwide, including a second site in Fleet (Unit 37a, The Hart Centre, Fleet Rd, Fleet, GU51 3LA).

The new store is open Monday to Friday 6.30am to 7pm, Saturday 7.30am to 7pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm.

It serves fresh sandwiches and baked goods, as well as a wide range of hot and cold drinks.

Coffee lovers were reunited with their favourite baristas at a grand reopening after Costa Coffee in Stubbington underwent a complete transformation and was closed for nine days.

They were joined by the Mayor and Mayoress of Fareham, Councillor Pamela Bryant and Councillor Lousie Clubley, the managing director of the franchise, Antony Tagliamonti, the chief operating officer, Kris Dungey, as well as Cuppy the Costa mascot.

Antony said: ‘I’m excited to see what the customers think of it, because that’s what we do it for.

Stowmarket Town Mayor Paul Ekpenyong officially unveiled the brand-new Costa Coffee Drive-Thru in Stowmarket at its grand opening on 11th December 2019.

The opening is part of an expansion and major overhaul by Scoffs Group — Costa’s largest franchise partner. The drive-thru is the first of its kind for Scoffs Group and marks the company’s 91st store nationwide, including a second site in Stowmarket (Meadow Centre, Wilkes Way, Stowmarket, IP14 1DE).

As part a conscious commitment to the local community, Scoffs Group have recruited an 11-strong team to operate the drive-thru, all of whom are local to Stowmarket, and are in the process of expanding the team. Although this is the company’s first drive-thru, they have already established a number of procedures to ensure a cohesive and responsible relationship with the community, including regular litter picking to maintain the surrounding area.

The bright and modern store has had an investment of over £400,000 and reflects the most up-to-date Costa specifications, with clean and contemporary décor and lighting throughout.

The new store is open Monday to Friday 6.30am to 8.30pm, Saturday 6.30am to 7.30pm and Sunday 7.30am to 6pm. It serves sandwiches, paninis and baked goods, as well as a wide range of hot and cold drinks — including the nation’s favourite coffee, Costa's signature Mocha Italia blend.

Mayor cuts ribbon on refurbished Costa

Eastleigh’s Mayor Councillor Darshan Mann – along with Cuppy the Costa Coffee mascot – paid a visit to the grand re-opening of the newly refurbished Costa Coffee on the Borough Council owned Channon Retail Park on Woodside Avenue.

The popular coffee shop has been refurbed to Costa’s latest specification following a two week closure. The new shop has had £155,000 makeover with new counters and food displays and also boasts internal and external redecoration, lighting, graphics and furniture.

High Street coffee shop coughs up the cash for under 8s football team

Costa Coffee, based in Halstead High Street, has agreed to sponsor the team, kitting them out with training gear, match day kits and jackets, all with the Costa logo on them.

As a thank-you, the team popped down to the store on Saturday morning to show their appreciation before digging into hot chocolates and cake.

Carl Pearse, youth team secretary, said: “The club go around local businesses every year asking for help and offering sponsorship. “We went in one week and the manager was nice enough to donate and offer to arrange sponsorship. “They also sponsor our man of the match award, so whoever wins each week gets a free hot or soft drink.
